Toronto: city of horrors...?
And I thought that dubious honor would rest upon NYC only...
Mother, father and child dead in T.O. stabbings

A west-end Toronto family's apparent domestic dispute ended with both parents dead, along with one of their three children.
The two survivors are a five-month-old baby and her 2½-year-old sister.
The 2½-year-old suffered a stab wound to her neck. Crying and bleeding, the diaper-clad toddler was taken to hospital on Wednesday.
She was listed in serious but stable after undergoing surgery, police said.
Her 3½-year-old sister was also taken to hospital, but she had no vital signs when she left the house and couldn't be revived, CFTO News reported.
Only the youngest baby came through the incident unharmed.
At 7:45 a.m. EST, authorities got a 911 call from the house, with a man saying he'd been stabbed in the stomach.
Neighbours later said they could hear the children screaming before the police arrived.
"They just heard them bickering this morning, like fighting back and forth. The people upstairs heard a fall and kids screaming and then that's it," one woman told CFTO News.
When officers got to the home, they found a 47-year-old man badly injured and a 27-year-old woman lying dead.
Finding out exactly what happened will be difficult, police admitted.
"It makes the investigation a little bit more complex," Det.-Sgt. Chris Buck told reporters. "We have to reach out to neighbors and family and scene investigation and pathology results to speak to us instead of live complainants."
CFTO News said more than one knife was recovered, but investigators don't know who was stabbed first.
Autopsies will be conducted Thursday morning.
Marilou Lawrence, who runs a local Boys and Girls Club, said the father was sometimes the peacemaker with dog disputes in the local park.
"When the going would get rough, he would be the calmer-downer," she said.
Toronto has had a few spectacular crimes lately involving children.
On Sunday afternoon, a 24-year-old man was shot three times on a bus after asking some rowdy young men to tone it down. An 11-year-old girl was wounded in the incident.
Last month, a seven-year-old boy awoke to find his mother murdered and her boyfriend hanging dead from a shoelace.
