mea culpa
Unforgivable on my part for having forgotten to give their dues to a whole lot of "holidays" again this past week...
April 25th for instance was Anzac Day (not Prozac Day - ANZAC! "On Anzac Day, we remember the brave New Zealanders who died in battle and we honor returned service men and women" - that is certainly praise-worthy). The 27th was "Administrative Professionals Day" - not quite as praise-worthy... but I am sure all the Dilberts of the world were happy that day... Alas, for creative types like me, the 27th was ALSO "Tell A Story Day" - why did they couple the uncreative, drone-like administrative suits with the story-tellers is simply BEYOND ME...
Then, the 28th was "Kiss Your Mate Day" - hopefully not a cellmate. Those who don't have a mate can always kiss their beloved pet instead - as TODAY is the start of PET WEEK incidentally...! And I would be remiss if I forgot -again- to mention that yesterday, the 29th, was in fact "Arbor Day" - an off-shoot of Earth Day, surely... Absolutely, leafy glades sheltered by trees deserve to be celebrated, but maybe it's just me, I would REALLY have been celebrating had it been HARBOR DAY... ;)
