day of the living dead - luminous style!
I don't know about you, but as far as I am concerned, the best take on the concept of immortality is certainly the immortality of the soul. If you are "like Plato, (who) regarded the body as the prison of the soul and death as an escape from the bondage of matter", you will agree with me on this too!
If resurrection of the FLESH is what interests you; I am sure that Christian dogma can satisfy you. Ultimately though, only ONE Will decide how it is all going to turn out - GOD.
In the meantime, I like to look at this image on display here today (an image that is making a triumphant return to TLB Prime - for a number of reasons! All good too!) and read the words inscribed at the bottom of it... If the small print is not readable and you feel not like saving the picture to pass it under scrutiny, here is what it says:
1 Corinthians 15: verses 51-52 (New International Version) New International Version (NIV) Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society ~~~~~~ 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
