Luminous Friday Night Videos! Extra Special Edition
Those who know me already know that I am a concept man.
When it is called for, the topical approach is best! All part of a greater concept - see? Hence the extra-long playlist of all manners of musical ladies - and all in honor of the occasion that graced us all mid-week; International Women's Day!
We kicked off the week very badly, losing a GREAT WOMAN in Dana Reeve.
So this is in her memory - the best ladies of rock (not just rock mind you; there are genuine divas in there too! Admittedly too, not just the best either...!)
The list is incomplete though; probable favorites of Dana Reeve such as Pat Benatar were not to be found. I could not add any videos of such classy acts as the Mediaeval Babes, Clannad, the Go-Go's, the Graces, All-Saints and my own cousin São! I got the next best thing in each case; and, in the latter case, near-cuz Nelly Furtado!
Not too shabby at all!
