today is repeat day... I repeat... today is repeat day
Repeat after me now:
Repetition is NOT good for the brain, says science.
Redundancy is traditionally viewed as something akin to stagnation, creatively speaking of course...
Repeating the same thing, over and over again, can be good for the karma if it is a mantra and not just some foul language that one repeats ceaselessly...
Repetition is NOT good for the brain though, says science.

Repeating the same thing, over and over again, can be good for the karma if it is a mantra and not just some foul language that one repeats ceaselessly...
And now, rinse, gargle and always brush your teeth after *most* meals anyway... For THAT is GOOD repetition indeed! And, once all of that has been accomplished, repeat what I did and perform a quick Google search on the word "repetition" - you will like what you see and find that some repeat hits are still worth revisiting... ah, that would be repeatedly too!
And tomorrow - repeat it all over again, from the start.
As the next day... and the day after that... and so on - ad infinitum!
Until next year's repeat day... Kingdom Come... or else!
You will quickly find out that some things are worthier of repeating than others (duh) and no one is infinite... thus, choose well what to repeat and what not to make part of your repeat experiences!
Now, repeat THAT after me...! ;)

Since the earliest days of The Luminous Blog, we have had those bright and glimmery e-cards on the sidebar - courtesy of 1-2-3 Greetings!
If you go so far as SUBSCRIBING to the 1-2-3 Greetings newsletter -which is electronic and free, of course- you will even get to become privy to many wondrous things...
Such as the amazing evidence that follows, in a sample newsletter that I simply had to show you all, right here... EDITOR BOB sent it to me and you will soon see that it sheds some NEW LIGHT upon "repeat day"... and OTHER "holidays" as well!

Dear 123Greetings.com subscriber,
You know, yesterday when nephew George and niece Rachel came over, I couldn't help but notice how lucky they were, playing and running around like there was no tomorrow. And there I was, stuck with a huge deadline to meet the next day and having no time to even keep scores for them. But interestingly, they were telling me, "Hey uncle Bob, how lucky are you to have no school tomorrow." It was quite strange actually—here were a bunch of kids who wanted to have the independence of grown-ups and there I was, craving for the independence of the kids ! Like my granny says, life indeed is strange and very seldom do we appreciate what we have. But sulking and complaining is, I guess, an integral part of our lives ! According to my friend Ron, I shouldn't be complaining too much about not being a kid anymore, for he says that the kid in me is always popping up. Well, that's classic Ron with his evergreen pep talks to cheer me up. And to cheer you up, here are a whole lot of happy holidays coming up in the week.
Family Day [ June 3 ]
Coming up on June 3 is Family Day. It is the day to get together with all your folks and celebrate love and togetherness. We sure love to get together with our parents, siblings, kids, cousins and gramps. But we often fail to catch up regularly. So with a day as inviting as this, get set to have a blast with all your lovely family members and make this a truly memorable day !
-----------
Cheese Day [ June 4 ]
There's nothing cheesy about this holiday, friend. A day dedicated to cheese—well, how great is that ! My buddy Ron, the greatest foodie I know, is already cheezing at the thought and is thinking of ways to celebrate this yummy day. What are your plans for Cheese Day ? Well, whatever it is, make sure you wish your cool buddies.
--------------
World Environment Day [ June 5 ]
The United Nations uses World Environment Day as a channel to spread awareness about the environment in order to enhance political attention and action. Now as people of the world, we all like to have a clean and healthy environment, don't we ? So on June 5, spread the message and let your folks know how glad you are to have them beside you in this beautiful earth.
---------------
Best Friends Day [ [ June 8 ]
Though I have some real cool buddies, my pet Kong is my best friend, no doubt. So this Best Friends Day, it's going to be a lot of fun with me and my pawsome pal King Kong. You too go on and have a blast with your best friend. You know my granny says that having a true friend is a boon. So celebrate this "boon" of yours by doing fun things together. Whether you give him/ her flowers, gifts or just a few hugs, make sure you have a great time this June 8. And if you're missing your best friend, send some cool ecards to wish them a Happy Best Friends Day.
-------------
Cuddle Up Day [ June 9 ]
If you want to see a big smile on your dear ones' faces, then Cuddle Up Day is here to help you with it. A hug is almost medicinal, it cheers up the grimmest of faces apart from lowering the blood pressure levels. And that apart, who doesn't love to cuddle up ? So take this chance to get real close to your friends, folks, pets or just anybody you care about. To start off, you may send some cozy wishes to your loved ones.
------------
That's it from me for this week. But don't you worry; Bob the editor will be back soon with a lot more fun. Till then, enjoy !
Ciao !
Your friend Bob !

See now - according to Editor Bob here, June the 3rd is really... Family Day!
Other sites will cite (gee - that sounds redundant right there!) June 3rd as Repeat Day...
I suppose they can easily be seen as one and the same - for daddies and mommies are ALWAYS repeating the same things indeed... and sonnies and daughters are always repeating the same faux pas!
Another luminous solution to the oftentimes incongruous stuff that this world will throw at us!
Don't thank me - thank Editor Bob!
