Luminous Dice Throwing...
It's like throwing the dice of Life
and throw all caution to the wind
It is just like throwing the dice of Fate
when we settle on a single path to follow
and swear to remain on it until old age...
But it is truly like throwing a dice into the Infinite
when one decides to Believe
in a God... in an Afterlife... in a Reward...
For most people, these days, this would be
the single act most akin to gambling of all
on any single human being's Journey...
Why is it so perceived?
Even by the elderly, who have lost Faith...
By the younger generation, who cannot have it
since, for the most part, they have not even seen
what it is like... what it can be...
And in a day and age,
where men and women in power
seek to be the know-alls
and take out any last reference to God
from every last temporal human remain -
this last dice-throwing experience
is bound to become rarer still.
For the record,
I am a Luminous Gambler!
And the Odds
are stacked in my favor!
