Luminous Women's Day!
Finally,
it is the
100th
International
Women's Day
recorded in
History!
Never mind the fact that it truly originated
in 1908... So what - some dames skipped a few years,
that's all: routine procedure, especially for those who worked
in the entertainment industry in the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s!
But that is another story...!
International Women's Day
is the day when we remember
the importance of
women's contribution
to the workforce
- the undeniable need
for their services
in virtually any job
that there is out there
- and the necessity of
both acknowledging that
and rewarding it
with equal pay,
equal benefits
and equal opportunity!
Aye, verily,
it could easily be called
International
Working Women's Day
or better yet
International
Career Women's Day!
But most women,
in truth,
prefer it to be
a simple ode to
Femininity
in modern society!
And we at TLB Prime
agree wholeheartedly with that!
