Christmas Past, Present, Future
There are always THREE...
''Tryptic Theory'' - as an old mentor of mine would say...
And, now, more than ever before...
I feel the need to look at it from all three angles indeed.
Yes, it's Christmas Time - again.
And what have we done... really?
Have we changed the world - lately?
Do we feed the world?
Does the whole world feel ''Christmassy'' - whatever that may really be?
Is it our duty to help them feel that way?
Is it incumbent upon each and every one of us to make them feel it - let them know it?
And how many of us will want that to be the case...?
Most of us feel Scrooged - all year through.
Most of us are Scroogey - and not in a ducky way.
In today's world, it is all fast... individualistic... and furiously shallow.
But then it is not all that new:
my great-grandfather used to say, and with good reason to,
''do none any harm - but don't do them any good either''
For he was repaid with evil when he did do some good.
Maybe one such dire experience should not stigmatize for all time to come.
Then again... Fooled me once, shame on you.
Fooled me twice... you know the rest.
Band Aid, USA F.A. and all other such efforts
probably had the most appropriate idea on this, from the get-go:
HELP YOUR FELLOW MAN, YES...
But let it be from as far away as possible.
If the fellow is on another continent, even better!
Beware of those pyramidal scams, ponzi schemes and the works though!
But you already do - all year through,
I am certain none of you will let their guard down
just because it's ''Christmas Time'' once again...
And so...
Ahem... Thing is... The war? It hasn't even really started yet!
(You cannot count this cold war pastiche as the real deal)
But it will... Maybe really, really soon too... In 2017, maybe...?
But that's another story...
In the meantime, let's keep on hoping ''it's a good one'' - yes...
Yes we are - 7.4 BILLION ''STRONG'' now...

Want to do something
really special on this date,
this all-important,
all-original,
unique and luminous
date
of our calendar,
11/11/11...?
Embark on a
LUMINOUS
CRUSADE!
(NO - it's not exactly like the FIRST...)
For the Holidays
(they are
Holy Days
after all)
For Lent
(it is
a small
rent
to pay
after all)
For Easter
(it is
the true
destiny
of that
time of
the year
after all)
For any given day
or season,
in truth!
Because
such terrific,
mind-blowing,
senses-shattering
NEWS as THIS
- ANY TIME
is the
RIGHT TIME
to spread them,
share them,
dispense them
for the entire world
to see, hear, feel
just how
wonderful
it all gets
to be!
After all,
these are not just
"the Good News"
here -
such tremendous
information
transcends
everything
and every label
that could be applied
to It:
for It is
more than news
- It Is The
Truth!

knew, sensed,
believed
that there is a
Greater Meaning
to everything
that surrounds
one and all -
such News
are to be
passed around
RIGHT NOW

Time Travel,
pure and simple?

NEVER believed in "Santa"...
However... One of my most favorite plush toys
and cherished childhood memory
remains that "Papa Noel" or Santa Claus
DOLL (I guess it was - really was... ugh!)
that I was gifted simultaneously as
my cousin got... Mrs. Claus - cuz being a girl!
(SHE got the REAL DOLL - there you go!)
As the luminously gifted (in that other most important way)
imaginative kid that I was, I would soon invent
a new persona for that doll -
complete with a moniker to match:
"Cap'n Adventure"
((Yeah - he became yet another super-hero;
and his team was made up of several other
actual anthropomorphic plush toys!))

This year,

the one based in
Fredericton, New Brunswick
- Canada!

bat son plein à Fredericton
We need things like that -
some lights for wintertime -
for...
In the darkness
of the shortened days
of winter;
in the coldness
of a cold-hearted world;
in the bleakness
of the frost of indifference
that permeates
the whole wide world...
One needs to believe
that there is some Light
-many Lights-
to give us some hope
in this world...
Lights
that reflect the
Holy Light

Reflecting
that can be done
in our own original way
- indubitably!
